Description plus-line
There was a time when even the rain gutter was beautiful. Rain chains date back centuries — instead of hiding rainwater inside a plastic pipe, they guide it down from cup to cup in a little waterfall you can watch from the kitchen window. This one is crafted from coated iron in a warm antiqued-copper finish, with twelve basket-weave cups that catch the light even on dry days. Hang it where a downspout used to be, or from any gutter corner, and the next rainy morning becomes something to look forward to.
How to Use plus-line

Remove your existing downspout (or choose a gutter corner). Most pop off with a screwdriver in a few minutes.

Hang the chain from the gutter opening using a gutter installation kit or V-hook (not included, we're working on that!)

Adjust the length by removing links so the chain hangs just above the ground, a basin, or a rain barrel.

Anchor the bottom over a bed of river stones, a basin, or a drainage area so water flows away from the foundation.

Enjoy it year-round — a soft waterfall in the rain, a gentle chime in the breeze.

Specifications plus-line

Material: Iron with anti-rust, antiqued copper-finish coating

Cups: 12, basket-weave lantern style

Length: Approximately 8.5 feet (adjustable by removing links)

Installation: Hangs from standard gutter opening; gutter adapter/hanger not included

Care: Rinse off debris occasionally; store dry over winter in harsh climates to extend the finish

How It Works plus-line
Rainwater leaves your gutter through the same opening a downspout would use — but instead of disappearing into a pipe, it travels down the chain from cup to cup. The wide cups slow the water and keep it from splashing, delivering it gently to the ground, a basin of river stones, or a rain barrel below.
Why You'll Love It plus-line

It makes rain something to look forward to. A soft, trickling waterfall right outside the window.

It replaces the ugliest part of the house. No more plastic downspout interrupting the garden view.

It works on sunny days too. A breeze turns it into a gentle chime; sunlight catches the copper finish.

It's the detail visitors ask about. The kind of old-fashioned touch most people have never seen in person.

FAQ plus-line

Q: Do I need anything else to install it?
A: You'll need a simple gutter hanger or V-hook to attach the chain to your gutter opening — these cost a few dollars at any hardware store. (We're working on including one — let us know if that matters to you!)

Q: What if my gutter is higher or lower than the chain?
A: The chain adjusts easily — remove links to shorten it, or add an extension chain for tall gutters.

Q: Will it rust?
A: The iron is treated with an anti-rust coating for outdoor use. In harsh winter climates, storing it dry in the off-season will keep the finish beautiful longest.

Q: What goes underneath it?
A: A bed of river stones, a ceramic basin, or a rain barrel all work beautifully — anything that lets water drain away from your foundation.

Q: Is it solid copper?
A: No — it's coated iron in an antiqued copper finish, which keeps it sturdy in wind and much more affordable than solid copper.

How long will my order take to arrive? +
+ Please allow 2–4 weeks for delivery. Our pieces come from specialty workshops rather than a big-box warehouse, so they take a little longer to reach you — we think they're worth the wait. You'll get a tracking number by email the moment your order ships, so you can follow it all the way to your garden gate.
What if my order arrives damaged, or doesn't arrive at all? +
We'll make it right, simple as that. Email us a photo of any damaged or defective item within 30 days and we'll send a free replacement or a full refund, your choice — no repackaging, no post office trip. And if your tracking ever stalls or your order goes missing, write to us and we'll sort it out. You'll never be left chasing a package alone.
Can I return something if I change my mind? +
Of course. Unused items in original condition can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Just email us and we'll send simple instructions. (Personalized pieces are the one exception — unless they arrive damaged or misprinted, in which case we'll always make it right.)
Who do I talk to if I have a question? +
Email us at grandmasgardenshop@gmail.com and you'll hear back within one business day, usually sooner. We are a small family-owned shop, and we answer every message ourselves.
